Garden Wall & Railings for Period Property
This period property in Deal required work to restore the front garden wall and railings. The work needed to be in keeping with the style and age of the property.
The original brickwork had become unstable and the railings had rusted. We carefully deconstructed the wall and rebuilt the pillars with concrete and steel reinforcement within the brickwork.
The coping stones were made to the exact requirements using formwork to ensure a seamless match.
The rebuilt brickwork needed to be in keeping with the style of the property so we used a period-appropriate lime mortar for the pointing.
The replacement metal gate and railings were fitted and the original pier caps were set in place to complete the project.
